Brian Mathers Forklift Training Services

Coming from an agricultural background, Brian Mathers has almost forty years’ experience of operating various types of machinery. He has been a registered forklift training instructor since 1998, firstly as an in-house instructor at the paper mill in Inverurie through ITTSAR and then RTITB, working for a forklift training company for ten years in Aberdeen.

We have witnessed many examples of dangerous driving, damaged goods and unnecessary risks being taken over the years. Some people find it amusing to mess around with a forklift or lark about with an overhead crane. But it is no laughing matter if a serious accident occurs as a result of this.

A fatality or a life changing injury could have a catastrophic effect on loved ones.

Also the cost of damage to products, buildings & facilities, insurance costs or loss of reputation can affect a business which in turn could lead to employment issues.

Therefore good, quality forklift training is not only a legal requirement, it makes good sense. Both from a safety point of view and an economic one.

We will give the benefit of our experience and expertise to all our customers. We will not simply turn up and scribble out some certificates because the managers or supervisors want people back to work as soon as possible.

Forklift training takes time and sometimes a lot of patience to achieve the required standard. Patience is what we have in abundance.

Well trained forklift operators can be very efficient and like it or not, time is money. If someone can do a task correctly first time, companies will see the benefit of products being distributed on time and with less damage.

Good supervision can also encourage operators to maintain a high level of safety as well as being efficient.

At BM Training Services, we will provide practical, sensible and cost effective forklift training. Keeping operatives at a high level of skill, helping to avoid accidents and prevent injury.
